Secret Place: a Lagoon fansite

My alias is Europea on gamefaqs, and this is a fansite for Lagoon. It was coded in html pages with a stylesheet, with some php scripts inserted. The site was partly meant to be a I guess of personal effort to try and learn php, so sorry if I go overboard with scriptable stuff. Some of the scripts could be buggy at first, I'm trying to fix them.

I made this site in my spare time mostly out of boredom, and Lagoon is one of my favourite video games of all time. I think it really can stand up to the more 'famous' titles (Chrono Trigger etc) even though the game mechanics are really simple. I hope a publisher or developer picks it up someday and releases a sequel.

Actually on that note I'd be really interested in making a Lagoon fangame. I started work on one some time ago but lost interest in it, the graphics from this site layout are from that. The engine was in C++ using directx, the game mechanics were going to be like a 'rougelike' (ie. nethack etc). I'm majoring in CS so coding is probably my area of expertise. Because of school I can't commit to anything for sure right now, but if you want to talk about ideas please get a hold of me or post it at gamefaqs.
